At Game of Horns Ranch, both rifle and bow hunters are welcome.  In Marengo County, our deer season generally begins in October for bow and November for rifle. The season ends in February.  Before you book, please contact us or check www.outdooralabama.com for updated information regarding seasons, bag limits, and other regulations, as this can change from year to year. In our area, the best time of the season to book is during the rut (December-February).

 

We offer guided and non-guided hunts, and game can be transported from the kill site and field dressed for you.  At Game of Horns Ranch, we follow all state harvesting laws and practice quality deer management, therefore, we only allow 6-points or better and only one buck and one doe per booking.  Select equipment is available upon request, but you are free to use your own equipment if you desire. Hunters are booked in smaller parties and at strategic times so that our deer population isn’t pressured.
