Upland Bird Hunts
Game of Horns Ranch offers first-class quail hunting, as well as continental pheasant shoots. Our fields are groomed regularly to enhance your hunting experience. Birds fly high and fast, offering both experienced and beginner bird hunters a memorable outing.
Deer Hunts
At Game of Horns Ranch, both rifle and bow hunters are welcome. In Marengo County, our deer season generally begins in October for bow and November for rifle. The season ends in February. Before you book, please contact us or check www.outdooralabama.com for updated information regarding seasons, bag limits, and other regulations, as this can change from year to year. In our area, the best time of the season to book is during the rut (December-February).
We offer guided and non-guided hunts, and game can be transported from the kill site and field dressed for you. At Game of Horns Ranch, we follow all state harvesting laws and practice quality deer management, therefore, we only allow 6-points or better and only one buck and one doe per booking. Select equipment is available upon request, but you are free to use your own equipment if you desire. Hunters are booked in smaller parties and at strategic times so that our deer population isn’t pressured.
Turkey Hunts
Game of Horns Ranch is carefully managed and maintained to make your turkey hunt a first-class experience. Our 459 acre reserve provides plenty of prime habitat to pursue your trophy gobbler. Guided packages are available, complete with experienced callers and land guides to assist you with your trophy quest!
Waterfowl Hunts
Game of Horns Ranch offers the finest waterfowl hunting available in our area. Our lake is managed and maintained for waterfowl hunting. We typically have good populations of mallards, gadwall, teal, and wood ducks that frequent our hunting areas.
In the regular waterfowl season, hunts are booked in smaller parties and at strategic times so that our wildlife population isn’t pressured. We can accommodate up to 8 hunters and require a minimum of 2 to book a hunt. Many of our hunting areas are equipped with spacious blinds that have been designed to keep your group out of inclement weather.
